UKTV backs Home launch with 'reality' push
Marketing, Tuesday, 28 April 2009, 12:00am,
UKTV is launching its latest rebranded channel, Home, tomorrow (Thursday). The channel, formerly known as UKTV Style, will carry the strapline 'There's no place like it'.
Four idents, designed by Red Bee Media, aim to show the reality of British homes. A 'family' ident starts with a shot of a teenager's messy bedroom before the viewer is led down the stairs, into the kitchen and then the living room.
The launch of Home will be supported by a campaign spanning the national press, outdoor posters and TV.
