The title provides a range of product reviews, technical advice and fighter profiles.

Fighting Fit will also give information and advice to combat sports enthusiasts on health, nutrition and training techniques.

Newsquest said its target readership would range from beginners with an interest in combat sports to experts within the sector. The title aims to capitalise on the increasing popularity of combat training techniques in gyms and fitness regimes.

The magazine will have 100 pages, 15 of which will carry ads. The first issue launched at the weekend, featuring 14 advertisers ranging from specialist equipment providers to nutritional and lifestyle companies, including One Stop Boxing Shop and Rockstar Energy Drink.

The first edition is in A4 format, with a cover price of £4.35. The initial circulation will be 20,000.
