The Share Centre appoints The Brooklyn Brothers

LONDON - The Share Centre, an independent share-dealing service, has hired The Brooklyn Brothers to handle its advertising, direct marketing and digital communications.
The agency's appointment was overseen by Guy Knight, marketing director at The Share Centre. The Brooklyn Brothers has initially been briefed to develop the company's 'giving you the knowledge' proposition. The agency will also handle its CRM.
The account had been held by Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel before the agency's merger with Proximity, and was worth about £5m in 2007. It is understood that it was moved by mutual agreement.
The Share Centre assists personal investors and companies with a range of services designed to give consumers easy access to stock-market investments. It is a member of the London Stock Exchange and is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
It claims that investors are re-entering the market to capitalise on dwindling share-prices.
The company's website has more than 400,000 visitors a month, with 250,000 regularly trading customer accounts. It also offers registered customers investment tips and opinions.
