Reviewer: Naomi Allsop, senior account manager at Storm Communications
- What is it good for?
If you are looking for an impressive London restaurant, there is no better place to take a client than Moti Mahal. This contemporary and chic restaurant serves delicious Indian food plated in an elegant, European style.
- Signature dishes
Appetisers include scallops seared with onion seed and coriander stem, tamarind glaze, and tangy chaat potato mash. Main courses, such as the spicy wild boar and okra curry from Goa, or the delicious roasted jumbo prawn, chickpea and mussel broth with ginger and curry leaf, are favourites at the restaurant.
- Who's the boss?
Moti Mahal was opened by two families, the Sarwal and the Guiral. The families have opened restaurants throughout India, and Moti Mahal is their first overseas restaurant.
- Tips please?
Throughout March Moti Mahal has a 50 per cent super sale, allowing guests to enjoy the set lunch and dinner menus for half price.
- What's the damage?
Go for lunch and try the two-course menu for only £10, or three courses for only £15.
