EDM poaches Rapp Media's Suzanne Lewis for managing director post

LONDON - EDM Media has appointed Suzanne Lewis, head of Rapp Media's list division HLB, as managing director.
Lewis joins EDM Media from Rapp Media's list division HLB where she has spent the past 19 years. She takes up the role as the agency aims to become a leading player in the UK market for customer acquisition.
EDM claims that it is pushing the boundaries of customer recruitment from traditional cold list provision and the barriers it faces in today's changing market to a more comprehensive multi-channel list business based around new approaches to data acquisition and lead generation.
Lewis said: "It has taken a hugely exciting opportunity to attract me away from HLB -- a brand and service that I have dedicated most of my career to developing.
"EDM Media is an impressive organisation and has something very special.
"I have been given the chance to play a major part in developing the new face of multi-channel list and data marketing in the UK."
Gert-Jan Evers, managing director of the EDM Media Group in Holland, said: "I have known Suzanne and watched her career for some time and I hold her in great respect; for her in-depth market knowledge, the way she managed and developed HLB and her enthusiasm and commitment to the data industry."
Lewis is expected to start her new post in a couple of months once she has completed her notice period at HLB.
