CBS seeks permanent chief

Wyatt will oversee, manage and drive CBS Outdoor's UK business for an undisclosed "finite" period, while CBS Outdoor International chief executive Clive Punter continues the search.

Until now, the duties of the outdoor media owner's chief executive position have been assumed by Punter following Andrew Oldham's surprise departure after 11 years in May.

The international chief executive said any delays in finding a successor were "no reflection of the current economic climate", adding: "I am in a desperate hurry to find the right person and not in a desperate hurry to find the wrong person. When I find the right person, we will move quickly."

Earlier this month, Pablo Gonzalez, former general manager of CBS Outdoor Spain, was appointed CBS Outdoor International chief sales officer.
