Public sector stalwarts form agencies

Kent Fire and Rescue Service’s head of media and communication Suzi Christie has left to launch Blueberry Public Relations.

Based in Rushlake Green in East Sussex, Blueberry aims to provide ‘affordable PR and marketing to organisations whether they are business to business, business to consumer or local government’.

Meanwhile, Munro & Forster head of practice Ben Caspersz has set up a new agency called Claremont, specialising in public and voluntary sector communications.

Caspersz has also worked at JCPR and Geronimo. He said: ‘I am aiming to reinvent the traditional agency model to take into account the particular needs of the public and voluntary sectors, but also to move with these recession-hit times.’
