Simon Redfern, Director, Fishburn Hedges - Election in June 2009, narrow Tory victory.

Eben Black, Director, DLA Piper Global Government Relations - Election in April 2010, Tory victory.

John Lehal, MD, Insight Public Affairs - Election in April 2010, hung Parliament.

Gidon Freeman, Director, Lexington Communications - Election in May 2010, hung Parliament with Tories the biggest party.

Graham McMillan, Chief executive, Open Road - Election in May 2010, 'Tories to scrape in with tiny majority'.

Rory O'Neill, Partner, Gardant Communications - Election in 2010, Labour 'by a handful'.

Jon McLeod, Public affairs chairman, Weber Shandwick - Election in 2010, hung Parliament with Tories the biggest party.

Alex Bigg, Public affairs MD, Edelman - Election in 2010, hung Parliament with no overall majority for any party.
