AstraZeneca: new Gov relations role
AstraZeneca expands team

Pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca has appointed Dan Evans as government relations and external affairs manager.
He joins the drugs firm from the Royal Bank of Scotland. He worked in the political risk department for the bank's retail business unit.
He has 14 years experience in government relations and has previously worked for the London Stock Exchange. He also established the government relations function for Monitor, the independent regulator of NHS Foundation Trusts.
Evans will report into head of government relations and external affairs Pete Digger.
Digger joined the pharma firm last year from DLA Piper Global Government Relations where he was deputy MD (PRWeek, 25 January 2008).
