Marketing, Tuesday, 09 December 2008, 12:00am,
The Brit Oval, home to Surrey County Cricket Club, is beefing up its digital activities, with a six-figure digital marketing spend planned for 2009.
Following a four-way pitch, the cricket ground has briefed agency BIO to move the Brit Oval brand forward digitally for the 2009 season.
The Brit Oval's plans include development across the brand site, mobile, online applications and eCRM.
The first project will be an overhaul of the brand site to shift the focus onto ticketing, media streaming, ecommerce and hospitality.
The Brit Oval, which will host several ties during the ICC World T20 tournament and one of next summer's Npower Ashes Test Matches, previously worked with The Other Media on its digital marketing.
