City & Corporate: Capital MS&L wins UAE job
PR Week UK, Friday, 12 December 2008, 12:00am,
Capital MS&L has won an investor relations and PR brief with the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, known as 'du'.
The account will see the agency provide international and domestic IR and financial PR services following a competitive pitch.
Du is the United Arab Emirates' second telecoms company. The brand name was launched in February 2006 and it listed 20 per cent of its shares on the Dubai Financial Market in April 2006.
The Capital MS&L team comprises Neil Doyle, Kate Delahunty and Sonia Kribi, reporting to Mark Shuttleworth, du's chief financial officer.
Shuttleworth said: 'As we see an increase in investor interest in du, we are stepping up our efforts to focus on comms with this important audience.'
Capital MS&L's telecoms team previously advised on the initial public offerings of Telecom Egypt, Investcom, Telkom South Africa, Belgacom and STC (Saudi Telecom) and is currently advising on the part-privatisation of Omantel.
