LONDON - Wanderlust magazine, the travel magazine championed by Bill Bryson, will next month celebrate its 100th issue and 15th anniversary.
The December issue of the magazine, which Haymarket Consumer Media recently acquired a stake in, will hit news-stands on 20 November.
The magazine is marking the occasion with a feature on 100 of travel's best secrets, along with features from the likes of Michael Palin and Bill Bryson.
Haymarket Consumer Media, which acquired a stake earlier this month, joins two other private investors, John Brown and Mark Ellingham in backing Wanderlust, although the majority of the business will still be owned by Lyn Hughes, the editor-in-chief and publisher, who founded the company with her late husband Paul Morrison in 1993.
