Tye decided to close the agency she set up five years ago to become consumer/lifestyle director at Lawson Dodd. She will work on lifestyle, CSR and corporate business.

Her seven clients include Old Spitalfields Market, gardening brand Tesselaar and a download-to-mobile therapy site mymobileguru.co.uk.

Before Tye shut Redhead there were two other members of staff. One joined another agency, the other went freelance.

Tye previously headed up comms at Yellow Pages and was also spokesperson for the Body Shop's late Dame Anita Roddick.

Meanwhile College Hill's head of corporate and B2B Terence Gibbons has also joined the agency as corporate director. He formerly worked at the Office of Fair Trading and handled regional and national PR for the Millennium Dome. He will work on key private equity, finance and legal sector clients.

Lawson Dodd's clients include Barclays Private Equity, Kerrygold and Lavazza. The agency also won Hoover in August.
