LONDON - Managing director of advertising at IPC Caroline McDevitt is to leave the company at the end of the year. McDevitt, a former chief executive of audience measurement body BARB, said she is leaving to pursue new challenges.
She joined magazine publisher in 2005 as director of group advertising and was promoted to managing director of advertising in 2006 when she also joined the IPC Board.
McDevitt will hand over to Evelyn Webster, managing director of IPC Connect, who will take on day-to-day operational responsibility for Caroline's areas of responsibility, in addition to her current role.
IPC Media CEO Sylvia Auton said: 'Caroline has made a real impact on IPC Advertising, improving both the way we do business with our clients and agencies and the effectiveness of our sales offering.'
