The Energy Deal is a product designed to help consumers save money on energy bills and also to reduce their carbon footprint.

It's the first major campaign produced by Archibald Ingall Stretton since the energy company appointed the agency earlier this year.

The campaign comprises banner ads, a microsite and door drops to encourage consumers to turn off lights, to take a shower instead of a bath and switch off electrical appliances at the mains when not in use, rather than leaving them on standby.

Banner ads will be seeded on Orange, MSN, Yahoo, Virgin Media and Google with the aim of increasing brand awareness and driving users to the microsite, where they can register for the EDF Energy Deal.
