New blood for Athena
- Athena Medical PR has taken on James Harper as a strategic consultant. For the past 18 months Harper has been working as an in-house consultant for brand teams at pharma firms AstraZeneca and Schering Plough. He will report to newly installed MD Steve Carroll.
- Pro Bio Healthcare has signed up HSDCommunicate to handle the launch of a dietary supplement for irritable bowel syndrome sufferers. HSD aims to build consumer awareness and retailer support. The product launches next January.
- Chandler Chicco Agency has brought in Duncan Shaw and Alice Reynolds as consultants. Shaw joins from his position as senior account manager at Health Interactions, part of the Nucleus group. Reynolds was an ethical product buyer at Alliance Boots.
- Red Health has bolstered its team with the hires of Charlotte Binstead and Kate Aldous. Binstead joins as an account director after three years as a senior account supervisor in New York at Hill and Knowlton and Ruder Finn. Aldous has been brought on board as an account manager, having held the same role at Huntsworth Health.
