Heinz's top marketer Suzanne Douglas to return to Australia
Gemma Charles, Marketing, Monday, 13 October 2008, 9:41am,
LONDON - Suzanne Douglas, the chief marketing officer (CMO) for Heinz UK & Ireland, is leaving the role to run the company's Australian business.
Douglas has been appointed managing director of Heinz Australia and takes up her new role in February next year.
The move marks a return to Australia for Suzanne who joined the UK & Ireland business as CMO in July 2006 from Heinz Australia where she was previously general manager marketing for three years.
Heinz has no plans at present to replace Douglas. The category marketing directors who previously reported to her will now report directly to UK & Ireland president Dave Woodward.
