MiLiberty appointed by Pinnacle Software
Golin Harris has won a US and UK account for 'cloud computing' firm Mimecast following a competitive pitch. Cloud computing allows people to access their computer files without being physically bound to one computer. Mimecast's version of cloud computing is protected by anti-virus and anti-spam software and enables users to retrieve information, such as email, dating back ten years.
gideon mobiexplore has hired Trimedia to launch its mobile phone service in the UK. The Croatian company provides free travel guides for phone users. Gideon MobiExplore is currently only available to Nokia customers and allows them to find local amenities, such as cash points and tube stations, when away from home. The three-month project is worth £15,000.
Pinnacle Software has appointed MiLiberty to launch a new game for the Nintendo DS. Football Director DS is the first football management simulation game designed for the handheld gaming device. The technology agency won the account after a four-way pitch.
Duke UK has created a corporate website for mobile phone music download service Omnifone. This is the first project for digital specialist Duke as part of an ongoing relationship with Omnifone. Last week Sony Ericsson responded to Nokia's unlimited music download service by launching its own music service powered by Omnifone.
Spark Communications has landed a b2b retained account with 'virtualisation' technology company Veeam Software. Virtualisation enables companies to use their servers at a greater capacity. Before companies could only use up 20 per cent of their server's capacity, but the new technology allows them up to 80 per cent.
