IPC and Clinique in Marie Claire tie-up
John Reynolds, Media Week, Thursday, 04 September 2008, 3:50pm,
LONDON - IPC and Clinique have signed a commercial tie-up that will see the cosmetics brand support the launch of a new virtual makeover tool from IPC women's brand Marie Claire.
The interactive tool, Marie Claire Makeovers, will allow users to try out new beauty looks while sitting at the computer. Users upload a photo and are then able to test a number of styles, colours and beauty applications, including eyeshadows and blushers, before clicking through to purchase.
Marie Claire Makeovers, available through the website www.marieclaire.co.uk, incorporates a portfolio of products from the Clinique range.
Marie Claire publishing director Richard Johnstone said: "We are continually building the beauty offering on www.marieclaire.co.uk and this interactive tool is an exciting addition to our already marketing leading beauty channel."
