Racepoint bolsters health team with new hire

Racepoint Group Europe has hired Chandler Chicco Agency (CCA) staffer Rachel Cummings as an associate director to lead and grow its healthcare PR team.
Cummings joins the agency after five years at CCA as a senior consultant directing the European campaign for Merck Seono's oncology franchise.
At Racepoint she will report into MD Jay O'Connor and will lead of team of seven in the healthcare team. She is charged building the agency's existing client portfolio and driving new business opportunities in the medical device, medical education and life science sectors.
At CCA Cummings was also responsible for directing pan-European and UK campaigns for pharma firms including GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer and Schering-Plough.
