Who are the web barons here?
Andrew Oxlade is the editor of the Associated Newspapers-backed personal finance site. The two assistant editors, Adrian Lowery and Simon Lambert, are responsible for news and production and personal finance respectively. They run the daily meeting. The news editor is Ed Monk.
Get the angle right
This Daily Mail sister title 'helps people save money and make more money', says Oxlade. 'Our strengths are news, analysis and predictions, but we also do step by step guides,' he adds.
Top tips
Target the right journalist, as each decides their respective agenda. Pitching to the news editor probably will not do the trick. 'The follow-up calls asking whether we've received an email are not helpful,' adds Oxlade.
PR friendly score 7/10.
