Wigadoo raises its profile, Weber goes global
WIGADOO.COM has called in IncrediBull Ideas to raise its profile. The start-up site is a social network that aims to help organise events with friends. 'The site is designed to make life easier, particularly when bookings or payments are part of the event,' said a spokesman. The agency will target 18- to 29-year-old young professionals and over-55s.
WEBER SHANDWICK is to oversee a global PR campaign for the Voice Commerce Group. The firm is launching its Voice Pay Service, which allows customers to use biometric technology to make payments. 'Our voice-based-biometric services provide financial institutions, retailers and their customers with the means to conduct transactions all over the world using just their voice and a telephone,' said Nick Ogden, CEO of Voice Commerce Group.
AXICOM COHN & WOLFE has secured the ongoing PR account for Rapid Mobile Media. Rapid Mobile provides mobile phone-based advertising and software for media companies and publishers. The agency will work on Rapid Mobile's comms strategy and will develop the company's relationships with analysts and the press.
BRANDS2LIFE has been appointed by BSkyB-owned ISP brands Easynet Connect and UK Online to run their PR in the UK. The brief is to raise the profile of both outfits by focusing on their customer support options and publicising the fact they are run from British call centres.
WEbsense, the IT security provider, has hired Inferno Communications to drive debate in the technology, trade and national media. Websense deals with web, email and data security. The campaign will be mainly UK-focused but will also generate coverage for the EMEA and APAC regions.
