LONDON - PHD has landed the media planning and buying account for the British Heart Foundation, after beating Arena BLM and Mediaedge:cia in a three-way pitch.
The BHF plans to spend £5m on three campaigns over the next year across multiple channels to help combat heart disease.
Manning Gottlieb OMD, the incumbent agency for more than a decade, did not repitch, leaving sister Omnicom agency PHD to run for the account.
The BHF has also appointed advertising agency Grey London to handle its creative account, following a four-way pitch.
Both pitches were handled by the AAR. BHF head of communications David Barker ran the pitch that kicked off in April this year.
