James Murdoch hires Anderson for strategy role

LONDON - James Murdoch has lured BSkyB's group director of communications and brand marketing Matthew Anderson across to News Corporation.
Anderson is taking on the newly created role of group director, strategy and corporate affairs, Europe and Asia, at News Corporation and will report to chairman and chief executive James Murdoch. He will join up with his former boss on 15 April.
Anderson's new role will be wide-ranging, including marketing, communications, strategy, corporate and public affairs and corporate responsibility. Additionally, News International's corporate affairs division will report directly to him.
Following Anderson's departure, Sky has appointed Graham McWilliam as group director of corporate affairs, and Robert Fraser has been named director of corporate communications.
