STOP PRESS: Zenith Media forecast of ad expenditure better
The latest Zenith Media forecast of global advertising expenditure
is cautiously upbeat about the prospects for recovery in 2002. It
forecasts that the first sectors to recover from the downturn will
include FMCG, travel, leisure, sport and household durables. In the UK
it forecasts television revenues will show a growth of 2.3% compared to
a decline of 11.6% this year.
