LONDON - The Birmingham Post has today launched a new version of its website as part of move to publish news online before the publication of its print version.
The revamped site will showcase breaking news throughout the day, as well as comment and analysis from the paper's correspondents and bloggers.
The website has been organised into specific business sectors, such as banking and the automotive industry, with dedicated forums and e-mail newsletters.
Bloggers have been recruited to comment on non-business issues and topics including the arts, industry and sport.
Marc Reeves, editor of The Birmingham Post, said: "The website enhances the value of what we already offer via the paper."
The Birmingham Post, originally published under the name Daily Post, was launched 150 years ago.
