LETTERS: Has Whelan finally lost the political plot?
PR Week UK, Friday, 11 January 2008, 12:00am,
OK, I'm biased, but Charlie's piece on 14 December was off the wall!
Take the four most perplexing statements. First: 'There is a sense in Westminster that Brown has turned the corner.' Oh no there isn't! Second: '...still a remarkable unity in Labour's ranks'. Oh no there isn't!
Third (of David Cameron): 'All his new initiatives were announced when they thought an election was around the corner.' Oh no they weren't!
Fourth: 'Labour has the advantage with Ed Miliband working behind the scenes.' Oh no it doesn't - he's part of the problem and should be concentrating on his day job!
Charlie Whelan was once a shrewd observer of the political scene. Sadly, he has now fallen victim to his own propaganda.
