The row began when The Telegraph reported that Kidman’s favourite perfume was by Jo Malone, and that she was using the scent at recent press junkets. Kidman is currently the face of Chanel and won substantial damages in a claim against the newspaper.

Exposure is believed to have been the source of the information about Kidman’s love of client Jo Malone, having put out a press release saying the star has been ‘wearing her White Jasmine & Mint cologne everywhere she goes.’

The agency has been in talks with the newspaper and is believed to have settled on around £20,000.

A spokesperson for Exposure said the matter had ‘been concluded’ and declined to comment further. The Telegraph also declined to comment.
