Taylor takes senior sales role at AETN

A&E Television Networks (AETN), owner of pay-TV channels such as The History Channel, has appointed Mark Taylor as vice-president of international ad sales.
Based in AETN's London office, Taylor will be responsible for developing ad sales strategies across AETN's five channel brands both in the UK and further afield.
A key part of his remit will be to develop AETN's local ad sales presence in Europe and to cultivate pan-regional and global ad sales activity for AETN's channels.
Taylor will also be responsible for developing sponsorship opportunities for the company's digital media assets, including its line-up of web sites, broadband players and VoD services. He will report to Sean Cohan, senior vice-president, international, AETN.
Prior to joining AETN, Taylor was principal of Main Door Consultancy, which he founded in 2005. Previously, he was vice-president, director of sales for Hallmark Channel across EMEA.
