The Week: City News - Apax lining up new ITV bid

Apax, the private equity company, is considering a third bid for ITV, according to The Mail on Sunday. The company is reported to be seeking to partner with other equity companies for its latest attempt, which follows an initial approach in 2005 with Goldman Sachs and Time Warner and a 2006 bid with Goldman Sachs and the equity company Blackstone.
