Carat has appointed its first ever head of new business from online
rewards programme beenz.com.
Nadine Arsenyev will report directly to Jenny Biggam, marketing director
at Carat.
The duo will work together to promote the media company's solutions,
which include its consumer research division Carat Insight, as well as
data planning and direct response tools.
Arsenyev spent two years at beenz.com, which is currently scaling back
its operations, as an account director, head of spend. Commenting on her
appointment, Arsenyev said her experience in creating partnerships and
business development gained at beenz would be key in her new role at
Carat.
Despite winning in excess of pounds 200m worth of new business last
year, including clients such as Renault, Tiny and LVMH, Carat has never
had a position dedicated to new business.
