Publisher hires ex-Disney boss

Siobhan Kenny joins the UK’s fourth largest publisher after two years as vice president of comms for Walt Disney Television in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Previously, she was director of comms at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Kenny started the new job this week, reporting to UK CEO Victoria Barnsley. She is primarily charged with expanding digital activity.

Meanwhile, the publisher’s former comms director Tom Howard-Vyse has resurfaced as head of media, Europe, at environmental charity The Climate Group. He left HarperCollins in January.
