LONDON - YCD, the provider of point-of-sale digital media and marketing technology solutions, has appointed Barry Salzman as chief executive.
Salzman was formerly president of DoubleClick’s global media businesses, and oversaw the ad technology firm’s expansion into 24 countries. YCD said it was hiring Salzman to lead its own worldwide expansion.
Founded in Israel in 1999, YCD’s UK clients include Toyota, Slug & Lettuce and Yates, with Philips, McDonald’s, Giorgio Armani, MasterCard and Hilton among its international customers.
Salzman said that YCD was well positioned to lead the trend towards digital point-of-sale communication and would help revolutionise the customer experience.
