Letter - I would have replied to Farrow's advert
PR Week UK, Friday, 07 September 2007, 12:00am,
Gary Farrow's statements about graduate attitudes were far too sweeping. I am on a sandwich year placement, putting theory of PR into practice within an office environment. I am living in London while working on placement and barely cover my rent, but appreciate I will not get anywhere without working my way up.
I would very much like to know where Mr Farrow advertised such a position within his firm as I am sure that there are many enthusiastic candidates, such as myself, that would have jumped at such an opportunity.
Katie Scoggins, PR student, Leeds Metropolitan University.
