NEW MEDIA: Fox Kids Europe targets children for phone tie-ins
TV channel Fox Kids Europe is to target children with branded ring
tones and logos on mobile phones, after signing up as the first European
client of Air Media, the wireless marketing platform provider which
launched last month into the UK market.
Air Media will distribute ring tones and logos to Fox Kids customers who
have signed up to the service on the Fox Kids web site. These will tie
into programmes such as Digimon and Power Rangers, in an affinity
marketing programme designed to increase brand loyalty and awareness.
They are likely to be followed up by e-mail and mobile marketing
campaigns.
The scheme will initially be trialled in Germany but is likely to be
made available in the UK shortly.
Air Media's service, already launched in the UK, will be rolled out
across Germany, Spain and Italy soon.
