Shortlist for Consumer Magazine Awards announced

LONDON - Carat, MediaCom, Mindshare and ZenithOptimedia have been announced as the shortlist for Agency of the Year in the PPA's 2007 Consumer Magazine Awards.
The four agencies have also dominated the Best Use of Magazines category, with MediaCom leading the field with three campaigns shortlisted. These are Cancer Research UK: Race for Life, GSK - Nytol and Volkswagen Touarag.
Mindshare has two campaigns shortlisted: Mazda Mx-5 Favourite Drives and Unilever - Domestos. Carat, ZenithOptimedia and Mediaedge:cia are shortlisted for their Saab Solomon, Toyota Aygo Black and Sony Ericsson: Now That's What I Call Music campaigns, respectively.
Other categories up for grabs are Collaboration of the Year and Idea of the Year.
The final judging panel for the awards includes H Bauer managing director David Goodchild, Rise Communications partner Ollie Joyce, Carat managing director Neil Jones, Unilever media negotiations manager Richard Brooke and Media Week editor Steve Barrett.
The winners will be announced at the Consumer Magazine Awards on 20 September at London's Imax cinema.
