Carlton TV commercial chief resigns from role
JANE BAINBRIDGE, Marketing, Thursday, 22 March 2001, 12:00pm,
Carlton Television commercial development director Caroline Hunt
has left her post without a job to go to.
Hunt resigned earlier this month. Jane Brown has been promoted to the
post of head of commercial development and takes over Hunt's
responsibilities.
Hunt has been at Carlton since 1994. She joined the company from Channel
4, where she was group head of business development, as head of new
business development at the UK sales unit.
She rose to head of client sales, before being made commercial director
early last year. During her time in the role, Hunt worked to raise the
profile of Carlton as a major media channel for clients.
'Caroline has done an excellent job and we are sorry to see her go. She
wants to take some time off and travel before reviewing her career,'
said Steve Platt, managing director of Carlton Sales.
