Wilkinson Sword unveils television campaign
Marketing, Thursday, 28 September 2000, 12:00am,
Wilkinson Sword will shortly unveil a pounds 4m television campaign as part of a through-the-line push to support the launch of its new razor, the Wilkinson Sword Protector 3D Diamond. The ads, created by J Walter Thompson, promote the razor's sharpness, using a caged panther and the strapline, 'So sharp it has to be kept behind bars'. The ads also stress the safety of the razor, which is a variation of the existing 3D and Protector range. The campaign will run from November, with another burst in January. Media is by MindShare.
