Sony Data Media has picked below-the-line roster agency WDPA to handle direct marketing for its high-tech data storage products.
The appointment, which follows a pitch against two unnamed agencies, will see WDPA promote sales of products including floppy discs and CD-R through distributor and catalogue reseller channels. WDPA has already worked with Sony, including on last year's 'Stuff It' campaign for Sony Data Media.
The new push, entitled 'Access All Areas', launches this month. It will incorporate direct mail, point-of-sale material and points-based loyalty activity. It will run until the new year.
