Connections 2000, Marketing’s new awards event for the 21st
century, is open to entries. The awards aim to reward excellence in the
use of technology to communicate with customers.
The Connections 2000 categories recognise the role of new media, such as
the internet, WAP and interactive TV, as well as the increased relevance
to the digital age of ’older’ technologies, such as the call centre and
databases.
There are also categories for sales promotion, customer care and
customer loyalty activities that have been driven by communications
technology.
Conor Dignam, editor of Marketing, said: ’The best ideas depend on
marketing excellence allied to new technologies that bring benefits to
the customer.
Companies that win a Connections 2000 award can truly call themselves
business champions of the 21st century.’
The closing date for entries is Friday, September 15. Contact Samantha
Graham on 020 8267 4145 or e-mail events@haynet.com.
