Splendour.com, the online lingerie company founded by former
Gossard chief executive Mark Pilkington, has appointed Banks Hoggins
O’Shea FCB to handle its pounds 800,000 advertising launch.
Pilkington is wanting to launch Splendour with advertising as
high-profile as the Gossard Wonderbra work which made his name.
The site, which is likely to go live in September, will design and
market luxury underwear online.
It is the first dotcom brand to receive funding from Marks & Spencer’s
new M&S Ventures subsidiary, which bought a major stake in the company
earlier this year.
