Edelman loses two more senior figures to Citigate
PR Week UK, Wednesday, 04 July 2007, 1:00pm,
Citigate Dewe Rogerson (CDR) has persuaded two more of Edelman’s top lobbyists to help get its new PA shop off the ground.
Edelman’s vice-chair of Brussels PA Thierry Lebeaux will oversee a new Brussels office for CDR Public Policy, while Edelman’s MD of Scottish PA John Mullin will establish a Scottish office. PRWeek revealed last week that Mullin had resigned from Edelman (PRWeek, 29 June).
CDR has already brought in former Edelman vice-chair of UK public affairs Simon Nayyar to get the new operation off the ground.
He started last month as UK MD, having quit his post at Edelman following a major
reshuffle at the agency (PRWeek, 18 May).
Meanwhile, Heather Rogers, also ex-Citigate, has resigned from her director position at Edelman to join pharma firm Wyeth. Lebeaux, Mullin and Nayyar were all at the now defunct Citigate Public Affairs before joining Edelman.
