Reuters unveils global PR boss

Brough, who has been at Powerscourt for the past two and a half years, said the move complemented her background.

‘Heading up financial PR is perfect because of my accountancy past. It’s my first move in-house,’ she said.

Before moving into corporate comms, Brough was a corporate financier with Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Singer & Friedlander. She started her career at Price Waterhouse, where she ­qualified as a chartered ­accountant.

Prior to Powerscourt, she was a director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson.

Reuters recently promoted Ed Williams to director of corporate affairs.
