Nottingham plays for forest cash
Sarah Robertson, PR Week UK, Wednesday, 30 May 2007, 6:00pm,
Nottinghamshire County Council is on the hunt for an agency to plug the region’s bid for £50m of funding for Sherwood Forest.
The council and its local partners want to persuade viewers to vote for Sherwood Forest in a national reality TV show, The People’s Millions, to be broadcast in December. The council will compete with five other finalists.
The campaign will run from the end of June and the council is not specifically looking for a consultancy from within the region.
