CONSUMER Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster has won the global PR account for Long Way Down, the latest project from actor Ewan McGregor and his colleague Charlie Boorman. The pair are planning a new adventure – riding from John O’Groats in Scotland to Cape Town in South Africa.
CORPORATE Discovery UK has promoted PR manager Lynn Li to communications director. European corporate comms director Sue Jackson was recently made redundant and corporate comms manager Kirsty Barr has left to found her own consultancy. The channel has also handed Braben PR a corporate and trade brief.
CONSUMER Red Signal PR has landed an account to promote Momiji – the cult Japanese friendship dolls. The Cheltenham-based agency has previously promoted Hello Kitty, another Japanese brand, in the UK.

CORPORATE CBS Outdoor (formerly Viacom) is to use Brazen to build its profile with media agencies and direct clients outside London. The brief centres around the company’s ability to reach consumers on the move.
AGENCY Flora Martin, former boss of Citigate Smarts in Edinburgh, is to become chairman of Platform PR.
