Sega is starting its pre-Christmas marketing push with a gamecard promotion featuring in the Daily Star newspaper. The promotion will involve eight million gamecards and runs for a month from September 1. The newspaper will link the promotion with its glamour girls, including Jo Guest, Sammi Jessop and Lana Cox, featuring them dressed up as characters from Sega’s games.

promotion featuring in the Daily Star newspaper. The promotion will
involve eight million gamecards and runs for a month from September 1.
The newspaper will link the promotion with its glamour girls, including
Jo Guest, Sammi Jessop and Lana Cox, featuring them dressed up as
characters from Sega’s games.
The campaign is also tying up with the launch of MegaStar - the Daily
Star’s Web site and there will be links between it and Sega’s Web site.
The marketing campaign leading on from this will include press ads
including a mixture of generic Saturn executions as well as specific
games ads.
