Anthony Varela is the new Lufthansa marketing manager for the UK and Ireland. Varela will be in charge of developing the company’s sponsorship, advertising and promotions activity. He joins from KLM.

Kelsey Offord has taken on the role of marketing manager at Campbell

Distillers, responsible for the marketing development of Jameson, Black

Bush and Bushmills Malt in the UK. Kelsey had been brand manager for

Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch.



Derick Hill is joining the Exchange as marketing director. He previously

held the role of head of channel marketing at Alliance & Leicester.



David Harris has been promoted to executive creative director at IMP.

Rod Clausen and Christian Clark have also been promoted to deputy

creative directors.



David Lipsey, public policy editor at The Economist, has been appointed

to the council of the Advertising Standards Authority.



Bob Chiswick has been appointed to the new position of head of marketing

at Doncaster College. He will take charge of developing the college’s

marketing information system and was previously manager of marketing

programmes at Dearne Valley Business School.



Simon Cole has taken up the position of head of brand modelling at

Interbrand Newell and Sorrell. Cole joins from Saatchi & Saatchi.



Karen Frost is the new account manager at sales promotion and design

consultancy PDP. She will work on the De Vere Hotels account.



Claire Huddart has joined DP&A as head of copy, working alongside art

director Dave Edwards.
