Group M hires technology duo

WPP parent company Group M has recruited two online technology experts to strengthen its offering to digital clients.

Marco Ricci has joined the company as a technology solutions manager from Starcom Digital where he was traffic and technology solutions manager. Prior to this Marco was traffic manager as Atlas, and before that worked as Lycos as an online marketing executive.
Luis Correa d'Almeida has joined Group M as a solution architect and will have responsibility for providing technological solutions. He has joined from marketing technology company m3 Media Services where he was principal software engineer and developed tools for adserving, campaign optimisation, sales tracking, search and business intelligence.
The two will bring to the UK online tools which are currently being developed in the by Group M in the USA as well as upgrade current UK operating systems. These new tools will then be used by WPP agencies MindShare, Mediaedge:CIA and Mediacom.
