Whiteoaks wins voice-ID remit
Hannah Marriott, PR Week UK, Wednesday, 29 November 2006, 7:00pm,
Voice-recognition software firm VeCommerce has hired The Whiteoaks Consultancy after a four-way pitch.
The company launched in 1997 and is well known in Australia, where it is headquartered.
Whiteoaks' campaign will kick off later this month with the announcement of VeCommerce's first major UK client, whose identity is presently undisclosed.
Voice-recognition software has the potential to reduce the cost of calls made to companies because it can route calls without need for an operator.
The agency will target trade and telecoms media, business and national media, plus trade press in sectors such as financial services and insurance.
Whiteoaks account manager Sarah Brambley leads the account, reporting to VeCommerce sales and marketing director Tom Risbrook, who is based in Kent.
