Berlin-based IT security company brings in Rainier
PR Week UK, Wednesday, 29 November 2006, 7:00pm,
Innominate Security Technologies, a company that provides IT security systems to manufacturing plants, has hired Rainier PR.
The Berlin-headquartered firm appointed the agency after a competitive pitch as it seeks to raise global brand awareness.
Innominate works largely with car manufacturers to protect sophisticated manufacturing equipment from viruses, hackers and other security breeches. Rainier has been briefed to devise and implement an online campaign, a central part of which includes the monitoring of websites, forums and blogs.
‘We made an internal decision to focus our PR and marketing on online activities and wanted a UK agency that could help us with that,' said Innominate director of marketing and alliances Andreas Beierer.
Rainier director Elke Panzner will run the account from the agency's Cambridge office.
The agency was recently acquired by marcoms operator Loewy in a deal worth £5m over three years (PRWeek, 27 Oct).
